The contract of sale is made in English law.
Orders accepted by e-mail, telephone or post.
Pro-forma invoices sent by return e-mail only, normally within 48hrs.
Payments accepted by Bacs/interbank or cheque.
Stock sold by pro-forma not reserved until pro-forma invoice settled.
Lead time normally 10/14 days from pro-forma settlement.
Haulage rates calculated from Road Haulage Association radial mileage map.
Delivery date set by haulier unless specifically arranged in advance.
Change of delivery date may incur a haulier's charge.
Hauliers' rates subject to change without notice.
Any issues arising in regard of haulage shall lay with the haulier.
Haulage is to site only, does not include on-site handling.
Drivers may not manhandle heavy stock by virtue of the Health & Safety Act. |
| Client to ensure staff & facilities for offload on nominated delivery date, or accept offload as signed for, or demurrage, at haulier's discretion
Deliveries signed for are fulfilled and satisfied in all regards.
Force majeure is accepted.
Cancelled orders subject to a 20% handling charge.
The sale of stock does not include landscape design, advice, on-site handling, planting, or aftercare.
We guarantee to supply stock in good condition, the hauliers guarantee to deliver it in good condition, thereafter the custody of the stock is outside of our remit.
Stock in a fulfilled delivery cannot be returned for fear of transmitting plant disease.
Standard Trees shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages resulting from any loss arising out of or in connection with the actions of any other party. |
