The contract of sale is made in English law.
Orders accepted by e-mail, phone or mail.
Pro-forma invoices sent by return e-mail normally within 24 hrs.
Payments accepted by BACS, CHAPS, or mailed cheque, in Sterling or Euros as appropriate.
Stock sold by pro-forma not reserved until pro-forma invoice settled.
Stock quotes and pro-formas older than 3 months may be void.
Equivalent Sterling values on Euro priced invoices may be subject to exchange rate variation.
ex-UK stock lead time normally 10/14 days after pro-forma settlement.
ex-Eu stock lead time normally 2/3 weeks after pro-forma settlement.
UK haulage mileage rates calculated from a standard Road Haulage Association radial mileage map.
Delivery date set by haulier unless specifically arranged in advance.
Change of delivery date may incur a haulier's charge.
Hauliers' rates subject to change without notice.
Any issues arising in regard of haulage shall lay with the haulier.
Haulage is to site only.
Hiab crane offload available if required additionally, on HGVs only.
Haulage drivers may not manhandle heavy stock by virtue of the Health and Safety Act. |

Deliveries signed for are satisfied.
Import order haulage rates quoted specifically per order.
Haulage max loading capacities are approximate, excess quantities are haulage chargeable or stock balance rebated.
Force majeure is accepted.
Failure to perform by an import supplier shall lay with that supplier.
Import orders by direct delivery are dealt with by pro-forma only.
Since import stock availability cannot be guaranteed before exporter's settlement, if stock volatility (particularly at the end of season) depletes an order, the pro-forma payment may be refunded in full or part, at the client's discretion.
Cancelled orders subject to a 20% handling charge
The sale of stock does not include landscape design, species selection, liability for remote advice or client ineptitude, on-site handling, planting, or aftercare.
Standard Trees shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages resulting from any loss arising out of or in connection with the actions of any other party. |
